Topic: Swing out mounted BBQ grill? Posted: 12 May 2015 at 2:25am |
Has anyone done a swing out BBQ grill like the Palmino Palomini set up, this looks like it comes as an option, kinda wish FR would do this as well i sure would want it, Im looking at other options but if i can find this kind of grill then i will like to do this mod to mine, but want it to come off so i can use it detatched from the trailer. Kinda a dual purpose girll backyard/travel trailer grill. Dont mind the number just pulled this off of google.

Just make sure you don't mount a grill under an awning--flareups can be quite a show.

At first blush, it looks great. My concern would be the grease that comes off the grill and sticks to the side of the Pod. We purchased a portable gas grill and I had installed a quick release gas connection near the front of the Pod. Had a collapsible stand and about 10' feet of hose and I can grill all day long without buying those silly bottles. Safe Travels.

That grill is awful close to the camper. I would be worried about splatter and damage. We will stick with out Weber Q , great little grill!!

prolly one of those supply and demand type things? as for the grease getting on the grill mounted on the back of the RPod, it swings out not sure of how far exactly but im sure they swing out enough to be far enough away to prevent fires or damage to the siding. This particulare grill looks like it comes as an option on the Palomini. heres another pic of the mount, so im guessing its a slide on attachment type grill for easy removal which would be what im looking for since i want to use this grill at home and on the TT. i would say it swings out a good 5-6 ft from the corner of the TT it looks like it has two hinges at about 2-3ft long beams attatched? |

You might want to look at:
You could get a Bumper Adapter, attach it to your frame and you would be all set. fred
