I changed my old SHURFLO 4008 series water pump today because of an on going issue with the fresh water tank filling when connected to city water. The new pump available from Camping World is on sale for 44% off. First thing I noticed was how much quieter the new pump is. After testing the city water connection, I do not see my FW tank filling. I never could find out why the old pump check valve was not working and it seemed to be intermittent. Pump was a direct replacement in my 178.

Yes Sir. The pump I took out was an A65.

Fred,

I had a fan running to dry the pump cabinet after replacement. I don't have great ears but I had to bend down to hear this pump run, really surprised, my old pump was noisy.
