I'VE SEEN LOTS OF POSTS ABOUT USING MEGUAIRE'S WAX/POLISH BUT NONE OF THEM HAVE INDICATED WHETHER THEY USED THE PASTE OR LIQUID. I WOULD APPRECIATE INPUT FROM THOSE OF YOU WHO USE MEGUAIRES. WE PICK UP OUR NEW 2017 178 ON FRIDAY, AND I'D LIKE TO PREP IT FOR THE WINTER .......

I use a product called NuFinish that I like for the car. With that you just rub in on and wipe it off. The camper is another story. It doesn't work so well on it. I think it's because the camper is fiberglass. Meguaire's sounds like a good idea, I've heard it's good, but paste or liquid I don't know.

I use the MeGuiers, I use the liquid, cleaner wax, red bottle, and apply it with a wool bonnet on a cheap random orbit polisher from autozone etc

Does it give an even, glossy finish?

If asking me.. yes. In fact when we sold our Pod last March, the new owners commented that it was as shiny or nicer then any of the new ones they looked at. Always used the yellow wash/wax from the same company for every wash, and the cleaner wax a couple times a year.

I use the sprayer bottle that attaches to the hose. Probably isnt as goodmas buffing or rubbing, but its better than nothing. I use the yellow stuff, its a cleaner and wax.

We have used Meguiar's Ultimate Liquid Wax on our 177 since 2011.  It comes in a black bottle and is a pure synthetic polymer.  It is a liquid, not paste.  You can pick it up at your local Walmart or probably get it online as well. Apply with the sponge that comes with the product.  Clean/polish by using the micro-fiber towel that also comes enclosed.  The finish makes the surface as smooth as a baby's butt, can't get any better than that.

Thanks - I was angling toward that choice myself - but it's great to have someone with experience hold my hand!

I'm going to give it a try too. Even though the last time I saw a baby's butt, it wasn't shiney!
