Took our 177 on its maiden voyage/shakedown trip this weekend. Campground offered cable so we decided to hook-up. Lifted the cap to the cable port on the outside of the Pod and it broke right off - - almost like it was brittle or hard and lacked flexibility. Now ...we're talking a new 2012 Pod here, so I don't think that should be the case. Anyone else have that problem. Don't feel like haulng the Pod down to the dealer (2+ hours each way) just for that !!
Thanks ...MJ |

They definitely picked some cheap parts - the cover to the AC port snapped off of mine last year, so I'm not surprised to hear about yours. I would call your dealer for a replacement.

White 'PVC' plastic parts which are exposed to the outside elements seem to get brittle very quickly if exposed to UV sunlight. I have had to replace quite a few covers, etc. on my RV's and trailers.
