I was recently interviewed by NewAir who makes the ice maker we own.  They put together a blog post about our experience and shared some video and pictures of my wife and I at our Pod.  The hardest part was finding a picture of both of  us actually at our Pod, this is the only one in 5 years we've ever had taken of us.  LOL

Let us know next time you get a coupon or group buy deal.  It's something I would like to get for my pod, but short on $$$ right now.

Quick question - Do you need to run a water line or hose to it to supply water?

You don't run a water line to them, just fill the holding area that is internal just under the lid anytime the add water light comes on.  This doesn't actually take long to fill and it doesn't constantly need your attention to add more water.

I actually have the current coupon that has been extended until 9/30 of this year.  They saw such a great response in our first trial run that they wanted to offer it most all of the camping season.

I actually just recently had a request from one of our owners who was interested in the next model size up and we set that up for them.  He received it last week and said although it is larger he loves it, makes nearly twice the ice and he was happy with a time delay feature that the larger one has.  So if you're interested it's something you'll have until the end of September to think about more.
