Hello everyone!
So excited to own my first R-pod!  I had been wanting one for a couple of years and finally made it happen!
I have a 179 that I bought in May of this year.  I have been camping a total of 6 times so far, half of them rustic.  Found it holds more water in the tank than I thought so I don't have to be quite so conservative

I am single with two grown children, work full time.  Looking forward to retirement within the next few years so I can camp more often and go during the week.

Longest trip so far was 250 miles away.  Pulls very easily.  Now I just need to master backing up!

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the 179!

The tank sizes were instrumental in us choosing an R-Pod because we will be boondocking quite a bit. Most travel trailers this size have dinky tanks.

Congratulations and welcome! We enjoy our 179 also.

Backing is tricky. Put your hand on the bottom of the steering wheel. If you need the trailer to go right, move your hand to the right. If you need it to go left, move your hand to the left. Practice in a big, empty parking lot. It won't be too ling until you get the hang of it.
