Topic: Furnace/AC Question Posted: 21 Oct 2016 at 7:17pm |
On the road now on our shakedown trip in Northern Pennsylvania. Cool now and going to get colder. Furnace runs fine but the fan on the air conditioner comes on when I turn on the furnace. Seems like the furnace is controlled fine by the thermostat but the A/C fan just keeps running. Is this normal? Can't find any info in the A/C pamphlet and the furnace book is useless. Green light is on next to furnace label. Any ideas? Thanks in advance! Jack

Idiot here, I think I got it. On the fan setting there are three levels, low, high, and auto. It was set on low. I moved it to auto and the furnace runs without the ceiling unit fan. Wife happy. Therefore I'm happy. Jack

I had the same problem on our last trip, only I didn't notice the fan setting and I was tired so I just flipped the breaker for the ac unit

It's a common mistake, so don't feel bad. Just the fact that you figured it out on your own shows that you have mad troubleshooting skills. :)

Camped over the weekend in my 2015 178 and used the furnace for the first time. It worked fine but showed celsius instead of fahrenheit.
Anyone out there know how to change so the thermostat reads fahrenheit?

I saw on justanswer.com that if you press the + and - buttons together, it should toggle back and forth between Fahrenheit and Celsius.
Hope that works for you. |
