We have a 2015 R171 and are looking at the new 2017 R180 models.  Will the R-Dome that fit on the 171 fit on the longer straight roof 180?

Thanks

Bob

It will fit the keder rail. It may seem a bit short, length wise, because the 180 and 179 are longer pods, roof wise, then your 171. It may, or may not, bother you. There is now a slightly longer dome shipped with those two models.

Thanks for the reply, I talked to the dealer and they did say they could get the R-Dome for the 180 specifically.  We are doing a trade in so it will just be a swap.  We like the R-Dome as we have dogs and use it as containment area for them.

Hi All:  I am hoping to ask a similar question.  I own a 2014 rpod 171.  I have the opportunity to purchase a new R-Dome from a 2016 rpod 177.  From what I can gather, the 171 and the 177 are pretty much identical with the exception that the 177 has a slider (and loses some storage).  I would assume that the rdome track would be the same length.  My 171 has the new track diameter (13 mm) so I am assuming the rdome should be the same.  Any thoughts?
