Just bought a Progressive Industries EMS-PT30X after reading all that I could on the forum about RV electrical safety. Our pod is (obviously) 30A so that's the EMS I went with, but then I got to thinking...what do I do when a pedestal only offers 50A service? Can I just put a hockey puck adapter on the unit and plug it in? Is it even possible for a pedestal to ONLY offer 50A?

I don't think I have ever seen 50 amp only, but if you have the adapter Furpod mentioned you will be fine, the 30 amp main breaker will protect the pod.

If the pedestal offers only 50A the rigs around you will be too big and have too many axles Thumbs Down. Time to move on Wink
