Topic: How to get out of the back area of the bed Posted: 22 Apr 2017 at 8:18pm |
Any tips on getting out of the back area of the bed. Without disturbing the front sleeper.

This is a very common problem. One forum member once suggested a small step stool. I've tried it, works better than trying to crawl over but you have to be a little flexible and if you like your calories, like most Americans, it really won't be very successful. Oh, and I bang my head on the roof it I'm not careful.

In the 179, try putting the pillows at the end under the TV. Scooting around the foot end becomes lots easier.

Levitation works well. http://www.levitation.org 😎
If the two sleeping in the bed are an "older" couple, the man should probably sleep on the outside, so he can go pee in the night without waking his lovely bride.
This is one of the reasons I took out the upper bunk in our 172. It made a nice storage area at the foot end of the bed and made it possible for my wife to get up enough to step over me. Neither of us could get the hang of levitation, no matter how hard we tried.

In our 179 I sleep on the outside when Sharon needs to get up she wakes me up I get out of bed wait for her to take care of business then we both go back to bed. It's camping what's the big deal? When we had a tent I use to have to walk to the bathroom with her this is easier.
