Love the pics and the pod. I just named my new pod the "rock pod."

By now the manatees are probably back in the ocean.

Appreciate the photo sharing! BSSP is next on our list as we've left our POD in Crescent City, FL as positioning for future visits to all FL State Parks.

Upon looking in the mirror this morning, I realized that, in my old age, I'm beginning to LOOK like a manatee!
I've only been to FL once, but was amazed at the diversity of wildlife.

No noise that I ever heard. Maybe they make a low tonal noise under water. That is a good question! I'll have to check it out.
Terry Okay, I got the answer. Yes! Go here: http://savethemanatee.org/audio.htm |

Yes, thanks for the photos. Those of the manatees are especially interesting. Tell me, do they make any kind of noises?

They also have a pontoon boat cruise on the Saint Johns that is well worth taking. I paid $20.00 (senior discount of $2.00) and was out for 2.5 hours. They have real nice play areas for the kids also. I'll be going back thats for sure!

Looks like a beautiful place with some fantastic animal life! Thanks for posting those wonderful photos for us to enjoy! Some day we hope to make it all the way across the country to visit Florida, and your post gives us a place to put on our list as a "must-see".
