For the outside ones, and only because I just needed one, I would just grab one from your local auto store. Or you can find them on Ebay as well really cheap, just look for the bayonnet base and it's an 1141 or also known as an 1156. Perosnally i don't like the panel ones because they need some sticky foam tape to hold them.

I've got the same ones as kymooses - they're a great replacement and I strongly recommend them. Three years old and still going strong. And, yes, they're perfectly fine for reading; you won't notice a difference.
I've been through a couple different ones, but I've never been happy with an outside LED - never bright enough for me.

How are those compared to the flat panel ones? I think I saw someone using those as well. Are these bright enough to read by? You know, really read, not squint and struggle like the middle aged guy that I am.
Oh yeah, is there a linky to the outside ones?

Last person I know that ordered from them had theirs in just over a week. Mine took about 3 weeks.

i know, a frequent discussion here! seems to be alot of different led bulbs used and purchasing from different places. im going to bite the bullet, and just want to make sure i get the right ones, the best price, etc. i have read many of the posts, just want to make sure. thanks ahead for the input. hogone
