I hadn't thought about it, but solo backing does present a challenge. The rest is easy. I am sure Dar could set ours up alone if she had to.

I just saw your question regarding women podders.  I pod by myself - well, sometimes with the dog.  My only issue when setting up is minor: I had to purchase a larger, 3-step stool so I can reach to install the RDome. Being 5'2" makes RDome set up a little tricky, but I've got it down to 15-20 minutes by my lonesome.
Oh and backing up into campsites. Always hopping out to survey the angles and distance. I'm still learning...

So I did get the P3 installed as my brake controller.  For those that have the P3, is it ok to leave it in the car and hooked up all the time?  I think someone said the unit continually levels itself and will drain the battery.  Is that true?  It looks like my installer didn't use the two brackets that came in the box, and it's installed under my center console in my car.  I can't figure out how to remove it without actually removing screws.  (The installer wasn't there when I picked up my car this afternoon; I can go back on Monday and ask him.)  The instructions with the P3 don't talk about whether it can stay plugged in the car continuously.  They do say the screen shuts off after 15 minutes, but I don't know if it's continuing to pull from my battery whether the screen is on or not.  If someone understands this issue, I'd appreciate the help!  Thanks!

Schipper, that sounds like a good price to me, Donna and I paid $11,200.00 for a 2011 RP-172 with R Dome. I think you got a great deal.

It is in the Delta Quadrant due to a worm hole. The trick is to come back.

Over the years I've used 3 different Tekonsha controllers--the Voyager, the Primus IQ, and the Prodigy P2. Of the three, I like the Primus IQ the best. It has most of the useful features of the Prodigy, and is easier to keep in adjustment than the Voyager. Things I like better about the IQ than the Prodigy: 1. the IQ is smaller, so takes up less space under your dash, 2. I prefer the manual brake switch in the front of the unit like the IQ, not under the unit like the Primus, and 3. to me the IQ was easier to set up and initially adjust.
 
Both the IQ and the Prodigy have digital readouts and a boost feature. Either unit will serve you well. Some people like the Voyager, but it is a pretty basic unit, and I thought it was difficult to keep in adjustment, as it has no digital readout, just a red/yellow/green adjustment light.
 
P/S The Primus has been updated over the past few years to the Primus IQ. Don't get the old Primus, as the IQ is a much better unit--closer to the Prodigy and not the Voyager.

I use the P3 for my RP172 and my Honda Pilot. I love it. I don't consider it overkill. It displays in readable english and is easy to set up. The boost function, if you use it, displays clearly. From reading the Primus installation instructions it can handle 2, 4, or 6 brakes so no problem there. However, the digital display reads in hyrogliphics since it is only a numeric display at heart. You may have to keep a cheat sheet handy and then it's too late. For the small difference in price from Amazon I'd get the P3. If your dealer won't put it in, find another dealer. The installation on newer vehicles is really simple.
