My first suggestion is to weigh your trailer and tongue. You want the tongue weight to be greater than 10% of total trailer weight, preferably 11-12% or more if your tow vehicle can tolerate it. That will reduce sway tendency.

Then, you can get a friction bar  for sway control, no need to change out the whole weight distribution hitch. That's what I use.

But, the way to think of sway control is as suspenders. The belt is getting the trailer front/rear weight distribution correct so you don't have any sway tendency to begin with. Like this:

First tow and ran into 12 to 15 MPH wind.  Some wiggle, but not bad sway.  Using a Curt weight distribution hitch without sway control.  Looking for a new hitch with sway control.  Suggestions ??

Wow. Has anyone else noticed that this thread has almost a quarter million views (> 242,000 anyway)?

I think I did it! I tried again using the Imgur app and it added the .jpeg extension today, whereas yesterday it didn’t for some reason.

I tried Imgur as well with no luck. Every link I try is without an extension. Any suggestions for other photos hosting sites that have been used with success? So I don’t have to learn to host my own pics.

Images will not post unless they have the actual file extension of an "image". Things that work are .jpg or .png or the like. Google photos, and others don't put an extension on it so this board does not recognize it as an image.

I’m posting the link exactly as you described. The problem may be with the way I’m copying the link from google and Flickr. Or maybe the file size? Right now the image I’m trying to post is les than 400 kB. I’ll spend some more time troubleshooting this evening maybe.
