Ah, I didn't get any square nuts for the plate bracket!  Thanks for letting me know.  I can pick some up at my local hardware.

We also have standard size plates and they fit on our 179 and also fit our old 171 when we had that.

I would drill new holes in the plate befor l drilled into the pod

I didn't see any topics on this:  Our trailer plates in Minnesota are the same as the standard auto plates.  I got my plates today and the bracket mounting bolds on the R-Pod don't have the standard spacing.  The bolts are in slotted holes in the bracket, but of course the bracket is caulked in place and there are threaded holes into the R-Pod skin.  I'm not sure I want to redrill holes and plug the old ones.  I might just use a plate frame to adapt the plate to the non-standard bolt spacing.

You'd think they would mount the bracket with standard hole spacing.  Perhaps Indiana uses smaller trailer plates?
