Look for a YouTube video of R-Pod construction and you will see that there are not studs in the walls like in a house. The framework surrounds the perimeter, door, and windows. It does not have studs every X inches. That is what makes it tricky to mount things.

They are aluminum and a stud finder will locate. Buy a medium priced finder that locates metal studs. I bought one at Lowe's for less than 30 bucks. I would guess they are about 2X2, might be less. COme to think of it, they are.

What center to center spacing are the wall studs and what size are they. Metal or wood? Also can a trypical wall stud finder be used to locate them? Looking at some light shelving mods.
