My truck becomes a WIFI Hotspot and can connect up to 7 devices. Other than that it probably works the same.

I have several apps on my iphone I can run as long as I get a good signal. Sligbox, ESPN go, etc. With unlimited data I do not have to watch out use.

That is the type info I am looking for. I am clueless about this WIFI service. All my phones have unlimited data, message, talk, etc. We are grandfathered in on our ancient plan. I am not sure exactly how OnStar service works but the info you gave me is a question I will now ask them? Thanks.

We have that option on our new F 150. Thinking about it as we run into the same problems with weak/limited wifi at a lot of the campgrounds

My new Colorado has WIFI on it. This is new to me so I will probably sound like a real dummy. Do any of you folks have WIFI on your vehicle or rPod? Is the service quality very good? I checked OnStar and their unlimited service runs $20 per month. Not bad but not sure I will use it that much unless we are camping.

The range on my trucks WIFI says 50 feet. Is it possible to use that WIFI from the Pod? I probably would have to have the truck running or in the auxiliary position.

Our last camping trip to Lexington, KY the Horse Park camp ground had WIFI but it was terrible. On one minute and off the next. Never stayed on for more that 30 minutes.
