What did you do with your TV? Mine is where you have the shelving coming in the door.

Georged,
I completed the project before I saw these posts. The wife is happy, so i'm exonerated.
Just finish putting in a "hatch" under "driver-side" settee seat.

You can move the radio up on a 171. You just have to clean up the wiring. I did it on mine.

Ya, I have a 180 and all I had to do was move the wood piece that was above the old radio location up a couple of inches, and I have lots of extra pod trim pieces left over from all my other projects that I used to finish out the inside. I was going to make a door for it but it has a USB port in it and that's where I plug in my phone and use as a catch all for things I use every day.

Dang, Wish I'd seen this before I went into "cabinet making" mode on my mod.
Duh.. Just move the radio UP.
Brilliant ..... Also, Looks like you put a nice "patch" panel on the side ?
Also, I just noticed You have a different model Pod than I do. Don't think it would work on my R171.

I moved my radio up into the empty space and finished out the inside of the bottom. I use it to hold all the crap that comes out of my pockets every day. I love finding easy to capture space!
