Sorry, no pics. The ones I installed were the Arcon LED #AR51267, white lens, 11 1/2" x 5", currently $41.23 at E-trailer. They also have a clear lens model, AR51268, which is $43.62. We went with the white lens which tones down the individual led's very well.

Which fixture did you get? Model number? Do you have any pics of the new light installed?
Thanks Jeff |

We replaced two of our ceiling lights in our 179 with dimmable Arcon light fixtures we got through e-trailer. Simple direct replacement install and can be dimmed to a very low light setting, we have been very happy with the results.

I have added dimmers to my truck camper LEDs and doing so would be
almost identical to those in my RPod. Adding them took a little bit of
work but doable for almost everone.
This is similar to what I installed: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Low-profile-Inline-Controller-Dimmer-Switch-for-LED-Strip-Light-Bare-Wire-/361269577543 What I installed was a small circuit board with a pushbutton switch which allows for dimmer levels with each push...or off. There are MANY such items out there. |

A good compromise on the color temperature is 3,000K which does not have so much yellow color but also does not have that bright blue color.
I think our 2016 RP179 came with 5,000K bulbs. However, my wife and I both like the brighter lights. She sews, and the color rendition of the 5,000K bulbs is more like daylight. We adjust the number of fixtures we turn on to control the amount of light. |

Unusual to post a question and no answers for nearly 2 days. As you are probably aware, there are 2 types of L.E.D.'s, dimmable and non-dimmable. Either the dealer or FR should be able to tell you what type you have. Another option, at least in my case was to switch out the bulbs, I went with a 2700 K bulb which gives out a brightness much like an incandescent bulb. The ones installed today are of the 5000 K output which for me is too harsh, not a fan of the bright blue color. Many choices of bulbs on E-Bay and Amazon to pick from.

Has anyone successfully put dimmers on the LED lights?
