My wife has a roll of "Minions" duct tape. It happens to be one of my favorites. (Despicible me movie)

Brightly colored with bright yellow Minions in fancy poses all over it.

She also has a roll of camo, if you can imagine making a camo pattern from triangular shards of different colored glass.  It is quite different in pale blue's and light greens.

Good luck looking at duct tape!

My used pod came with an R Dome but nothing to go cover the bottom area from bugs, etc.  I made pieces using and old plastic tarp....and a homemade keder using chunks of wire and duct tape.  Works....and matches the other duct tape I have to use to seal where the dome doesn't fit well against the pod....Wife is looking for designer color duct tape to make a fashion statement out of it.

I have seen two ways this has been remedied.  First is as you suggested, using duct tape.  The second is to use a lighter and quickly 'sear' the edge so that is won't ravel any more after it has been cut.  I would practice this method on a discarded piece of screen first so that you know how much heat you can use before the whole thing melts in front of your eyes.

When you cut the hole in your bottom screen for the opening for the step to come out, does anyone use anything to help stop the cut screening from getting bigger. Duct tape etc. We had to get a replacement from FR and was just wondering if anyone had a trick to this.
