Thanks guys.
For the pop ups do you not have to anchor the corners down ? I had one years ago for craft sales and had to have one gallon cans of concrete in each corner. I am trying to get away from having to take those weights on camping trips .

Most EZ-Up or equivalent canopies will need to be elevated higher than the built-in legs will support to be used as an awning. I haven't tried putting stilts on one to see how well it would work.

Alternately, you can put a tarp in the keder rail to drape over the canopy so that you have shade and rain protection immediately outside the door.

I just us a 8'x8' easy up Canopy. That way we can move it around as the sun moves. And it's easy to set up and doesn't cost much.

Is there a reasonable alternative to the P-Pod canopy attachment ? Don't need the room part so much as I would like an awing at reasonable expense and not too difficult for one person installation. The $400.00 one would cost me a lot more than I want to spend in Canada with the 30% dollar exchange rate added on plus shipping .
Pictures of what you are using for an awning would be appreciated
