Given the choice, 4 is better as the heavier wire can carry more current. That being said, the 6 is adequate.

If you can't find one at Walmart, go to any auto parts store and you should be able to find what you need.

Go to wal mart, go to the automotive section, buy a "battery cable" of the needed length.

Depending on where you put it, you will not need a gigantic jumper. You should be able to fab one pretty easily.

I want to install this disconnect, but it seems I will need some sort of small jumper cable.

Any recommendations on this?
