I did the same thing..........Works great. They have two sizes.  One is a little less deep from front to back.  I put the slimmer one in and don't have quite as much room in the box since I have two large batteries.  Either one works great!!

We did the same, box was purchased at Harbor Freight.  Had to re-locate the regulator inside the box and also got a longer pigtail for the propane line.  Mine was 8 years old already so it was due, got one that is 6 foot long, easy to switch from one tank to the other w/o moving anything but the propane line.  I also cut a few 1" holes along the top for ventilation and covered with a coarse screen to keep bees/wasps out.

That is a pretty tight fit between the propane tank and the box.  Good thing you were able to relocate the regulator.

As I mentioned before, I cut the battery boxes to make trays to set the batteries in just incase.  The bottom is supported by the tongue frame pretty well, but I suppose it wouldn't hurt to stick a piece of plywood inside to reinforce it.  I've seen no indication of the bottom being overloaded.  I'll check mine from time to time and if it appears to start to sag, I'll stick a piece of diamond plate aluminum in there.  It takes up less space than wood.

Now it's time to fill up all that empty space.  Big smile

Wheel chocks and some poo gear.  Gonna place the battery boxes over the batteries to protect them.  I purposely left space around the batteries to allow for larger ones in the future.

Had to cut of the propane regulator mount and re-weld it on the forward side of the the tank bracket.

Still have to install battery disconnect and Victron monitor shunt.

The metal seems just a bit thin and I’m considering a bottom plate such as a piece of 3/4 plywood.  Have you seen any evidence of issues with supporting the battery weight?

That box looks real swell, but look at all that extra space for storing stuff that ain't full.  Yikes!  Wink
