Decided to install a battery switch to avoid the constant drain when it's setting. Simple install, one hole with a hole saw and four for the screws. Installed on the ground side, caulked. Weather proof and works great.

Needed a ladder for the top bunk. The stringers are 1x3 maple and the rungs 1" poplar, glued and screwed. Sized to fit next to to the wardrobe so it doesn't stick out, it's easy to walk past. Of course during the day or when traveling we'll just toss it on the lower bunk.
