I didn't figure out the bases yet, started looking them over this morning.  Thanks for the information, it is helpful.

My mom is about to put her house up for sale in Kewadin, kind of sad to see the place go.  My dad built it just before I was born.  We still have a farm up in Ellsworth, so we will not be leaving the area permanently or anything.  My family has been in Antrim county since the Civil War, heck I always thought I would end up back up there someday.

My phone showed a Forest Lake sw of Munising and Christmas in the U.P and due south of AuTrain.  Was not aware of Forest Lake by West Branch.

Regardless, have you found any LED's to replace your incandescents yet?

I'm down in Forest Lake by West Branch.  Our postal code is Alger, MI in Arenac County.  We're half way between Standish and West Branch, just off I-75.

I purchased my 177 in your neck of the woods!  Hilltop RV in Escanaba.  Bringing it home in March 2011 was an unforgettable experience, crazy blizzard with a good 6+" snow on US-2, took us over 4 hours to get home.  Surprised they didn't shut the Mackinac Bridge because of the high winds.

You aren't too far from downtown Slapneck are you?Big smile  My dad grew up in L'Anse.  We spent most of our vacations there when we were kids.

Hi Jato,

Dang, you live in Kewadin?  That's where I"m from, that's pretty cool.

I'm not sure what my bases are, but that's helpful information that you have T-10's.  I'll try to dig that up, I have the owners manual.

Thanks,
7mm

Mine is a 2012 182g, it's my first camper and I'm slowly getting up to speed on improvements.  I didn't realize light bulbs would be complicated.  It's hard to believe how warm those little incandescent get, plus I'm not crazy about the light they give off.

I got mine from superbrightleds.com.  I like the company.  All of mine were incandescents.

Greetings 7mm

We changed out all our lights after owning our 177 for 1 year.  That is now 9 years ago and they all run well.  By now the price has probably dropped significantly as back in 2012 when we purchased our T-10 base bulbs they were $ 10 apiece!

Do you know what the base of your bulb is?  On older ones such as ours the T-10 appears to be quite common.  Also you will need to choose what style or 'flavor' you are comfortable with.  For us, we wanted to stay with the yellowish incandescent color which is in the 2500 - 2800K range.  If you want super bright blue (which i find quite harsh on the eyes) go with the 4000K +.  The brighter the bulb, the higher the number.  I have seen L.E.D.'s installed that are 5000K, to me it is almost like trying to look at the sun, they are so bright.  Ebay has a plethora of L.E.D. rv bulbs to pick from, I order from them for a lot of items, free shipping and no annual fee to pay to get that option either.

In my 2015 all but the outside lights were already LED. What year do you have?

Greetings,

Has anyone switched out their incandescent light bulbs for LED's?  I was looking at some options, the number of choices is pretty overwhelming.

Thanks,
7
