Here are my misadventures with this:
Water can definitely cause the delamination but from what I found is the bond between the luan (which is cheapo) and fiberglass is not real great.

Your trailer would not have Azdel. Here is a construction video so you can see what you have. Ignore the marketing BS. If your delamination is caused by water getting into the lauan then there are significant issues there. See if you can find signs of moisture around the bottom of the walls or gaps in the seals where water could be getting in. You can also buy a wood moisure meter, they're inexpensive, but you'd need to make some small holes in the walls for the probes. If it's dry in there and if the areas aren't too big you could try injecting some epoxy and clamping the delaminated areas, there are some members who have done this if you do a search on the forum.

We purchased a used 2014 178 that looked in great shape. What our concern is that after sitting in the hot sun this summer the sides are showing rippling in several locations. It does seem like exposing it the heat and sun has made it worst. We took it to a dealer and they are giving s a gloom and doom that we need to stay off the interstate for fear of the whole side pulling off. I was curious on how common the rippling is on the sides, what would be a guess on the cause and just how unstable it would make the sides. This is our first camper and our first dip into the RV world see we are very much newbies.
We are planning on a rocky mountain extended vacation(from MN) next year to celebrate our retirements and have been spooked by what the dealer had to say. A final question, what year did they start using the Azdel composite panels on the r-pods. Thanks,
