this is a great idea, I like the corner cushions but I definitely like the idea of some extra storage - the hard top of the cushions makes for a bit of an extra shelf to put your drink or snacks.

Nice job! And what a great idea. I tossed those cushions right away because it's too hard to sit there and they do take up a lot of room. I wish I'd thought of your solution.

We have a 2017 R Pod 178 with the large table and corner cushions. We have only converted the table into an extra bed twice in 4 years and we thought that the corner cushions consumed a lost of space. So we converted them into storage bins.
As you can see in the attached photos, the original fabric is still used and padding was added for comfort if you lean against the storage bin. The attached photos include a diagram of the dimensions and the various stages of construction. L
