I had to replace my bathroom light in my 179 when I had it. If it is the same one, you have to pry the cover off, there should be two screws to remove and it will come right off the ceiling. This one from eTrailer was a direct replacement but it has been a while.

Yup that was the problem the switch on the light itself was turned off. I didn't even know that existed. it must have been bumped while someone was working on the toilet for me. thanks for all your help!

Maybe that's it. Was dewinterizing & the light won't turn on. Maybe that's a switch under that rubber cover? If the switch doesn't work, does anyone know how to remove the light? Since it's in the shower it's not the standard puck lighting.

Why do you want to replace the light? Is it not working? I have a 179 and have not been able to find how to remove the light. In the process of the light not coming on which made me want to remove the light to find the problem, I discovered that to have the light come on there are 2 off/on switches controlling that light. One is located on the light itself and the second is on the water level control board located by the switch for the slide-out. Both these switches have to be in the on position for the light to be on. That resolved my problem so I did not go further. Hope this helps you.

Unfortunately, I don't have the 179 anymore so I can't look at it. Is it round? If so, is it a twist to remove cover perhaps? If so, try rotating the cover. Otherwise, someone who has one will have to help you on this issue.

Does anyone know how to replace this light? All the other lights are easily removed & replaced but this one is different due to exposure to the shower. There seems to be a small button with a rubber cover but I can't get the light to budge. At least not without possibly breaking it. Thanks!
