We also use that methord to silicone the r-dome track so that the dome slides on  really easy

Yes. it's best to spray on a rag, and wipe. Run the slide "out" and wipe what you can from the outside, then run it in, and wipe what you can from the inside..

Looking for info on slide out care.  I was told to spray rubber gasket and slide out sides with silicone.  I this the best option.
