Cool,I tried that method as well but no go.....

With the TV output audio "grayed out" in the Menu,there is no output for speaker sound to exit the TV to got to the head unit.

Just seems stupid the FR would supply some Pods with TV's that can be made to work with the Jenson speakers while watching TV and some that won't work.

The TV output audio is the ONLY menu option that is grayed out in ALL 5 categories ...Ouch

We use the headphone out on our tv to the 3.5 mm input on the Jensen. Works great for us

This is what my TV does......why does it seem everyone's' entertainment components are different?

All I want is to hear the TV through the Jenson speakers....LOL

I thought there is a menu option to change audio output, but may not be. Got too much AV stuff in the house. I'll check the pod tomorrow. Right now, priority is getting fridge cold and packed for a quick weekender. BTW, I don't travel with the TV on it's mount. It travels screen down on the bed otherwise I would have a looksee right now.

I copied Fred's hook-up and did not have to use the menu options.

Hi TR,

If somebody doesn't beat me to it, I'll try to snap some pics how it work's on my unit tomorrow evening we we arrive we're we're going.

Yes, there is a TV menu option to choose audio output, but I don't recall right now. Also, of course, you need to have the Jensen stereo set to AUX. If using the headphone jack and AV input on Jensen stereo, you don't have to make any TV menu changes.

Very true Fred!  It does help though on those days with the sun is not so shiney and the pod is the only dry place in town!  Well, dry in the sense that its not wet!  The cooler is always full of the good stuff!

Yep Todd, that'll work too. I just didn't happen to have a male mini-mini so I used what I had in my box 'O wires. Of course, we all should be outside instead of inside watchin TV! Wink

We have a 2013 unit and it has an aux in (3.5mm) on the face plate.  We connect a 3.5mm male-male to the headphone out of our tv directly to the aux in on the face plate.  put the jensen on aux 2 and off we go.
