Ditto, now ya can breath easy. I think we've all had several of these moments as well, just not all of us are brash enough to share them. |

So woke up this morning. Turned on the pump and every thing seems to work fine. Not sure if the pump shutdown from over heating or the line was clogged then the gunk dissolved overnight or what. I will pull the plug in the water tank later today and drain it all out disconnect and rinse as much as possible then run a few gallons of fresh water through the system. Then hopefully consider it s lesson well learned
Thanks for letting me share vent. Alan |

Well it looks like I made a major mistake trying to sanitize my system.
Used the wrong kind of bleach. Didn't read the label closely and added no-spill bleach. Which is full of some sort of gel. Water pump got clogged with the junk towards the end of pumping it out of the faucet. Cleaned the pump filter out thought I was back in business, got pressure back and then wham everything just stopped. Now I have a full tank of water with this messed up gel clogging the pipe from tank to the pump (or worse) At least that's what I suspect is happening. The pump does not turn on and when I disconnect the intake hose I am not gettin any water. It's dark so I haven't pulled the plug in the tank. Hopefully I don't burn out the motor. Guess I will start by checking all the hoses for clogs and then see what's next. Fortunately the pump isn't super expensive if I have to replace it. Live and learn I guess. Eventually I may even takes this rpod thingy camping. Lol Alan |
