Yes, I installed a Voyager camera on the back of "Phoebe" and the monitor above the rearview mirror in the tow vehicle. It's a moderately expensive system but works fantastic. I love having the rear view so I can see morons tailgating! As a backup camera it works quite well, but the wide camera angle takes a little getting-used-to.

I mounted the camera externally on an aluminum adapter plate epoxied on the outside of the trailer immediately below the back window.

First a definition: I define back-up camera as one that is powered and in use only when the vehicle is backing up. I define a rear view camera as one that is powered and operating when the vehicle is moving either forward or backwards. Same hardware, just powered differently. I had a rear view camera on my Pod and moved it to the present Camplite. Very useful on the highway to see who's directly behind you. Also useful in accounting for all the kids and their toys before engaging the transmission and for watching the bikes on the rear bumper while driving. While some use a back-up camera for backing into campsites, I find a spotter (wife) more helpful.

Do any of you have back up cameras on you R-pods? Are they worth the effort?
