The monitor panel is hokum. Use a multi meter to check the actual voltage of your batteries. While it's possible the sensor is faulty, I think I have only heard of that one time. Since it's a brand new unti, talk to your dealer, that will be covered under warranty.

I have the Safe T Alert combo CO2 and propane detector. I just connected two new 6v GC2 batteries in series. Without shore power this afternoon after running the fantastic fan for 20 or 30 minutes the detector started flashing red/green which indicates a fault. The manual says to return it to the manufacturer if it does this when the voltage is fine. My battery indicator showed 3/4 when running the fan and full power when not. Has anybody experienced this on a brand new R-pod?
