We had that same problem and the Forrest River solution worked.

Your welcome.

What I think is happening is warm/humid air is entering the fridge through that wiring channel and causes the condensation.

Usually it's condensation that is causing the alarm.  To prevent condensation build up you have to pull the cover off the light/door switch and you will see a channel that the wires run through to the switch.  You need to take some silicone caulking (color of your choice) it won't be seen anyway.  Peel back the tape covering the channel an inch or so and fill it with the caulk.  Re-stick the tape back down and hopefully that will solve the beeping.

Not sure I posted this properly the first time and was afraid it might get lost in a long string.  I asked about alarm problems with our refrigerator so here is our post again.

-------

We are having similar problems with our Dometic refrigerator - we get 15 +/- beeps every 2 minutes or so.  We had the door adjusted and it seemed okay but then the problem started up again.  The dealer replaced the sensor and once again, we were okay for a couple of short trips but then the problem recurred.  The pod is level, we get the alarm on DC 12v, 110 or propane.  We get the alarm when we've been on the road or camped for days at a time.  When I open the door and depress the door latch, the indicator light goes out but the alarm continues.

What is most frustrating is that the problem is intermittent.  We can go several days without a problem, or go only a few hours.  If we ignored the beeping and go out of the camper, it will sometimes shut off after an hour or so but this is a problem if it goes off in the middle of the night.  Other times, the beeping will continue for a full day and then stop.

The door closes properly, the sensor has been replaced - any advice?  We are going back to the dealer but we have had this problem since our very first trip and our extended warranty will be up in the fall

Any help would be much appreciated..

Lisa and Paul
