Just to reiterate - only run the stabilizers down to the ground and then go a bit more to firm them up.  Don't use them to raise/level.  That is what blocks under the wheels and the tongue jack are for.

How do you do that mod?? How did you remove the handle? Is it permanently off, because my drill isn't strong enough to crank up the weight of the pod to level (or check to be sure the ball is secure) but I love the idea of being able to get 95% of the cranking done. BTW, I am using the exact same drill.

I use either a Workzone (Aldi brand) 12V Correction: 16V cordless drill or a Porter Cable 20V cordless drill, both lithium ion. On either one, I use the low speed and set the drill to either 2 or 3 so that it can't torque the stabilizers too much. Both are adequate. I keep the Porter Cable at home since I use it most there. The Workzone travels with me as it came with a hard case that is compact and stows easily. It is one of the June 1 specials at Aldi if you have one near you. The one in the Aldi flyer was 12V, not the 16V one I have.

I use a craftsman 12 volt.  I only set the jacks not try to raise the trailer.  It works fine and lasts for many times.

You only need enough power to raise and lower the jacks.  You shouldn't be applying enough pressure to raise the trailer to any extent.  I've used Black and Decker, Craftsman and Dewalt drills without any issues.
