Wow, that's terrible customer service.  I've never heard of a problem with the main circuit board.  It must have been a manufacturing defect.

What will you do for refrigeration on the rest of the trip?  A cooler with ice?

We spent 4 1/2 hours at a Camper World just south of Birmingham. Then I was told it is the main board in the frig. They would need to order it and Dometic will not have any until July 27th. I was also told that warranty work started at any Camper World needed to end at the same CW. So it I didn't want to stop our 46 day trip and wait for the part I would need the process all over again at another CW, even the diagnostic work. But I could pay for the part myself and not use the warranty it would cost me $569 plus installation. I couldn't even have them order the part and sent to another CW because it wouldn't be considered wRranty work.

It does seem that there is something wrong with your refrigerator itself, which is actually quite rare.

Check the GFCI outlet inside the pod, I would bet money it has tripped.  Reset that.

I posted the Dometic RM8xxx series service manual, There is a series of checks you can try. It's also in the "creating an instruction & maintenance manual" section "Fridge (in progress here and here and here)"

we are at our first real campground and our frig. Has no power. We have a RP 171 new. It worked last time but not now. 15 amp fuse is ok and I replaced it just in case. Breaker is on. We have power for air conditioner and the TV set but no frig. Power.
We are on the first leg in f a 7000 mile trip and no frig.
