I've had a garage model for 6 years now, one of the very first ones actually and have never ever seen or heard of anything like that.
Something like that is something to keep pushing onto your dealer to get a real solution to. What you are experiencing is not normal or common in any way!

we are taking our first trip with our new R-pod model 183g. The garage door on the rear of the trailer keeps coming unlatched and opening up while we're driving! We checked and had latched and locked both sides, but it looks like the door flexes? And the hooks tear out. speed doesn't seem to be a factor and we've been on paved highways the whole time.
We finally had to tie the door down - not ideal but it's working. We'd appreciate any feedback on this issue as our dealer has not been helpful at all so far with issues. Thanks!
