I know two owners of older pods, 2010's, who did it within the last couple months. Both are very happy with the results. They both ran it "longways" in the pod. Any of the laminates should be fine. Look to see what the big box store of your choice has on sale.

Thx for quick reply. I noticed ur n Lou. Have u seen any Ky Rpods with laminate? And do u know what material/thickness of laminate was used? Would it be run perpendicular to/across the floor joists as opposed to aligned with the floor joists?

Several Owners have added laminate locking floor to the Pod to help with that actually.  I've seen it in at least 3 Pods before.  It looks really nice.

I had a leak in my plumbing vent/AC that came into the hall outside the bath of my 2010 171 Rpod and created about a 2'x2' spongy area in the floor. When I look at the factory video, it shows the floor is some scant aluminum frame with styrofoam and thin sheet of luan? I'm thinking of trying to fix the spongy floor by laying laminate flooring on top of the vinyl. Has anyone done this or have any thoughts?
