It is hard to blame Forest River for a tire problem.  As indicated tire failure can be caused by many things.

Tire failures can be caused by LOTS of things. Many outside the owners control, road debris etc.

On the dome hoop, what broke? You can order parts, or a whole pole, from a couple places, including FR.. $$$!

I like "Tent Pole Technologies". They do good work, are fast, and not $$$$.

we recently took a month and traveled from Florida to Canada. Outside Asheville, NC, on I40 we had a tire on the pod fail. The tire tread stripped off leaving us riding on the steal belt. The pod is a 2015 model 179, so only a year old. The tire failure took the tire fender off also. Repair cost were $160 tires, fender and fender lights $500. Very scary situation. I understand that tires on trailers don't last long but expected at least another couple years out of the pods tires.Has anyone else had this problem?
Also during the same trip the thin shock corded pole on our dome broke. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement?
To get the fender fixed I called 10 days ahead and had a dealer order the part for us instead of waiting till I got home. My opinion regarding the overall quality of Rpod product has gone down?
