One of the beauties of fiberglass is that it can be repaired.  Depending on the size and nature of the repair job, a varying amount of skill may be necessary.

Thanks all,

The unit we were sort of looking at also had some other issues so we are passing.  I think its had a bit of a checkered past.

Sounds a bit like a some sort of stone guard might be a good idea if folks are getting holes going down the road.

They make small repair kits for boats repairs.  They come with everything you need - fiberglass, expoxy and a tube of gell coat.  I have used it on our boat with good success.  Tape off all around the area, clean it, repair it, put the gell coat on.  Then sand and paint.

Or, simply fill with silicone and put a bumper sticker over it!

Why not use sandpaper and some fiberglass and resin to cover large holes. Then a little paint. Doesn't have to be perfect, just strong.

My pod had a hole about the size of a dime on the front when I purchased it used.   I filled it with clear silicone caulk.  That was 3 years ago, it still looks the same and shows no signs of water damage.

I have a small puncture in outside skin at front of R-Pod, possibly from rock om highway, I would also like advice on skin repair from forum members.

Has any had any experience repairing exterior damage.  I'm looking at a unit that is for sale that has a whoops on the front.  I think a backing incident.  The pictures I've seen don't look terrible but I've not seen it in person yet.
