Pahaque sells them, I have one it works well. Believe there are 139 for a 179, attach to rail and with bungees.

Good Evening HWHL, We had our Dometic slide topper installed on our 2016 179 by Camping  World. We were lucky and got it on sale (about 230.00) with free installation. Otherwise the install was $91.00. We love it. We don't need to worry about it anymore...

Here's the post with pictures of the one i put on, Carefree slideout cover. took about an hour, looks way harder than it is. I used the stock rail because i didn't want to put 10 more screws into the side of the Rpod. Cover has a 1/2" drop when extended.

Does anyone have any advice on a good brand of slideout cover? We want to mount one on a 2017 Model 179 pod. I am concerned about the rain gutter already mounted above the slideout and its relationship with the cover. Also I'm concerned with the fact the slideout and gutter extend almost to the back end of the pod. I am told the cover needs to be mounted between 6 and 8 inches above the slideout. That seems like the cover frame would extend beyond the end of the trailer in order to completely cover the slideout. Any experience with this situation?
