   Another for instance.  I keep my Pod plugged in all year at the house, I winterize at a start of cold season, and use the Pod as a man cave outside my building.  I don't keep inside temp maintained with propane.  I put an electric heater in it set to 60, the cost is small, I can work in my building and when I need a break I can go watch TV and warm up.  There is no condensation issues, basically the Pod is climate controlled.  I ask my wife to tell me about electric bill issues and there is nothing you can see, just a few bucks.  I don't run the lights or the fridge.  Same at campground, no sense in using propane if electric is available.  Plus the 178 furnace is under the bed, which I use as storage, so to use the propane furnace I have to clear an airspace for it.  If I can use an electric heater that is the size of a half of gallon of milk that is what I prefer over the Pod's furnace.  I think it is a short site on the part of the RV industry to not put electric space heaters in RVs.  Give me a choice.

	My 2 ¢: You don't have to keep the propane turned on all the time, you don't have worry about the tank running out of gas in the middle of a long cold weekend when you're away at the opera in NYC (not that I've ever been to the opera in NYC, mind you, but I am planning on visiting the opera house in Virginia City, NV, since it's close to home), and it saves wear and tear on something much more costly to replace.

	We are talking about electric heaters. Nothing wrong with Pod heater, I chose to use an electric versus propane when I can. When in a campground that electric heater doesn't cost me a cent.

	ok, stupid question time. What is wrong with the heater built in the pod? kinda loud but it doesn't run very long at all.

	I can vouch for the Broan Nutone Big Heat 6201s, I have two, one for spare, one kept my 178 above 65 for a number of days, with outside temps in the 20s. No freeze issues in the Pod.

	We use a little electric heater that is about 4" high x 10 w x 8 deep that sits low and secure on the floor. I used to use it in my sail boat to keep the humidity under control. The advantage of this size is that it isn't prone to falling over and potentially starting a fire. If I recall, the max wattage is about 1500, but I've never had it set very high as it's more than adequate to heat up the inside really fast at a lower thermostat setting. I used it recently to heat up the area around the galley faucet as the plumber's putty I was using was cold and not so flexible. I had it on high for about 15 minutes and the trailer was like a sauna inside. It was about 40 F. outside. 	We found a small ceramic heater at Walmart sufficient to warm our 177 on a chilly Florida night / morning for around $20. It has the tip-over shutoff feature and selectable temps and fan speed controls.

	I am sure there are probably a number of good choices. I ended up buying the Vornado AVH10 Vortex heater on Amazon. It was one of the more expensive ones at $99, but I wanted quality in the pod heater and wanted the features where it would turn off if tipped over and had different watt settings (can be set at 750w or 1500w ). This one met all my criteria.
