Congratulations on your new power jack! I can't wait to reinstall ours. I removed it so that our escaPOD would be close to stock before it goes to the factory for repairs. It will likely be one of the first mods I reinstall.

This was a piece of cake. Raise the hitch. Place a 16" block under it and unbolted. Installed the power jack and connected the power. The entire removal and install took less than 5 minutes. Daughter helped.

Speaking of Harbor Freight, see they have a 3 gal, oil less, 1/3 HP, 100 psi pancake Air Compressor for 40 bucks.

Funny that you brought that up rawest50.  Years ago I had an AMC Gremlin and as we were coming home from church, 21 miles away in the dead of winter, the car pulled very hard to the left as I was coming up the driveway.  Yep, the driver's side read tire was nearly down to the rim.  But was I happy, this could have happened miles away from home.

I am the type person that buys stuff just in case I need it.    I might have a flat in my driveway.

That is, unless you want to get a floor jack for other purposes and are using this as an excuse to buy it. Big smile

Use your tow ball, it's already there, and will hold things up, that's it's job.

One thing about the jack I bought it looks really simple. Pump housing the ground and one cable to the battery. I was not sure about using the stabilizers holding the RPod up. Got the support solved with a 3 to jack.

Use your tow vehicle. Your tow vehicle makes a great safety chock!! It's what I did to install my electric jack.  This is a very easy job. The hardest part, installing the electric connector if it isn't pre-assembled.

I crimped a terminal ring onto the supplied positive wire so it could be bolted to the battery. A circuit breaker was provided on the positive wire, the negative is connected under one of the trailer jack bolts. It  took longer to get the crimps at Home Depot than it did to do all the rest.

You read my mind. Harbor Freight had a floor jack on sale. I bought it and will use it to jack up my trailer. Use stabilizers to steady and do the 5 minute replacement.
