Hey Clejo,
We didn't make a murphy bed, but we did convert the "queen" to a daybed/sofa. The "queen" just wasn't big enough for us and Henry (the camping cat). We hated crawling over each other, at least while we were trying to sleep. She gets the twin. Henry and I get the converted dinette (custom cushions). Works best for us. Pics in my signature. fred

Has anyone modified their pod for a murphy bed? It seems like I could put a braced piece of 1/2" plywood hinged under the mattress to lift the mattress and use a futon mattress with a backrest to have a small couch in our 180. It would add some weight on the hitch but I should be able to keep it simple and light. I was just wondering if anyone has tried this. The other trailer we were looking at had the murphy bed and we really liked it but the trailer was too much for our tow vehicle.
