The other point is that if you are taking your pod over brush those wires are the least of your concerns.  No pod, even the Hood River models are truly made for off road.

Those wires are pretty much useless anyway. Tape 'em up, cut 'em off

Crawled under ours with a roll of electricians tape and went to work on those wires.  Managed to get them tucked up afterward so shouldn't be a problem.  Still wonder why they left them hanging out like that?

One has to be a tinkerer to own an RV.

I spend some time under the TT doing preventative maintenance, wire brush and paint, heavy duty tie wraps, bundling wires against the floor, etc. I don't want to look at it and say that sucks, I want to try and get the issues to where I have confidence I got a good option against failure. Takes some time every year, but well worth it. I agree with Tars, get under there and do something, it's shady:)

"Construction details aren't always dealt with consistently by the factory."

Methinks you are perhaps understating the reality. Myself I've never seen such an appalling lack of attention to detail. Maybe I got the Monday R-pod.

Construction details aren't always dealt with consistently by the factory.  If your wires are hanging down you should probably tape or tie them up.

Has anyone dressed up the 24 (?) gage signal wiring that is exposed under the trailer?  It seems to me that it is just waiting to get snagged on some brush.  I thought I'd just tape it against the tank wall for protection.
