anyone have experience with this generator. Looks pretty good. Duel fuel and has Rv plug. We can run it off of our propane at home, too, if we ever have another hurricane here in sc.

I have a Champion 2000 watt inverter generator and have been very pleased with it. I have spoken with a couple of folks who own the larger and they spoke well of it.

I have a 2800/3100 it works for my 178 pod and is very quiet, I have a tray that I have it mounted on the tongue of the trailer. I have it up on a rack and strapped down. I can run the AC on economy mode with no problem at 8500 feet in elevation. I bought mine from amazon. So far so good I leave it on the rack while it runs and hook the power cord to it.  I can barely hear it from inside. I also bought a cover for it to keep the weather off it.

While the smaller a/c is an available option.. having camped with, modified, and repaired several hundred pods over the years, I have never seen one have the smaller a/c installed. A few with no a/c, but never a factory installed smaller unit.
