i just purchased a 2017 183g with rear "garage". It came with a gas grill. Any suggestion on how to store it in the garage so it doesn't bounce around ?

i have a 182g and store the grill in the rear storage area beneath the kitchen.  i would't try it in the kitchen if i didnt have to.  I added a spare tire carrier to make room in the rear storage area.  is your spare inside there or somewhere else on the 183g?

You use the rear hitch for your spare? Curious what you did.

Many PODS come with spare mounted on the 1 1/4" hitch at rear. It's a standard 1 1/4" spare tire mount.

i used a BAL tire carrier.  the pics are in my mods.  just follow the link on the signature.  i'm not sure if the rear mount would be good with the garage models, kinda be in the way really.

Texman, curious..  How much do you really use he grill?

I've done so much with a grill. Bake, grill, smoke. Yet when really sets in, a good cooktop I have done the same. Bake, grill, slow cook.

This is a debate we're going through as to what we really need for the travels.
Again, reality of which we need to run and see what works best for us.

We're excited to begin the new adventure life brings. Many things to learn.

Heck, I can cook breakfast on the grill, yet better on a cooktop (closer to the burner).
Heck, I can grill off a cooktop for supper (or cover it to smoke), a lift grate.
I bought this unit because of the 'outside cooking'. We love this!

Curious what you use and how.

Thanks for the responses. I decided put the grill on a rubber pad on the deck of the outside kitchen . I'ts strapped in place for traveling and easy to get to when we're ready to take off and cook.
