These comments confuse me too.  See TARS post, that is most correct.  The Fan can run continuously, the AC is thermo controlled if you set it cold it runs longer if you set it hot it runs less, just like AC in your house.  It is based upon where you set the thermostat.

	Get you thermostat where it shows the fan speed. Low or high. Tap the arrow up. If in low it switches to high. If you tap it again it goes to Auto. This allows the fan to go on and off eliminating all the noise. This work for heating. Not sure on AC. Try it.
