We needed a 'break-in' run to run through EVERYTHING.
Hancock Campground, Lincoln, NH.
A Boondock spot that was open to give it a run (not many open this early).
Pretty nice spot just inside the Nation Forest and 5 miles out of Lincoln, NH.
Pump water at the Park (shame doesn't connect to a hose), good basic water (probably pulled from the river).
$24 dollars for the average folk, but with my Senior Pass 1/2 off. Nice!
What I really wanted to know was how much battery draw I would actually do. Well, 17amps! Far below what my audit worked out to so very happy with this. Means I could go deeper..
Propane, well I screwed up and did not weigh before leaving. Sorry about that.. I did promise to report on that as well. I will do better on future posts.
I stayed in site 39. Rather nice spot. Gravel site and pretty level (2 blocks and good).
Really screwed up with the Dome as I didn't weight it down.. Winds kicked up over night and blew it over the Pod.. Thankfully, no damage and can recover from it. Lesson learned!
We have developed a short list of 'things' we should have brought (and a list of things that just didn't work). As much as they say 'We have little space to pack', we have found with all our preparation, we have space to spare.
Good run over all! Much learned.
