   I was in Lowe's yesterday.  as part of their Father's Day tool Sale they have an infrared thermometer for $19.95. This is a great tool for measuring the heat index of your hubs, tires and brakes. We have used one for several years and find it comforting to know that the temps are within a "normal" range.  Basically, we compare one side to the other of the pod and also to the TV.

	Do remember IR thermometers measure surface temperature. I've seen lots of people try to use them to measure air temperature, like air from an AC unit. It's also measuring temperature, not heat index.. ;)
